Cleveland Browns and the Job Market

For years the Cleveland Browns have been my team.  I can remember (back in the 80′s) my Dad invited his brothers over our house to watch the games every Sunday.  Sunday wasn’t about church, it was about kickoff at 1:00PM!  This was the life.  My veins pumped orange and brown, my three brothers and I were the Cardiac Kids not the Grella Boys.   We always wanted to be #1.  Unfortunately the Browns have never brought us a Superbowl and this year is not looking like the redeeming season.

So what does my sad story and passion for Cleveland’s football team have to do with employment and interviewing.  Well for the first time, Cleveland is looking better than Detroit, Miami and Los Angeles when it comes to big city comparisons.  Below is a graph (provided by Simply Hired) that outlines the number of available people for each available job in that same market.
